I bought the Fantom X after having the Fantom S with me for a couple of years now and don't get me wrong the Fantom S works fine till today (and I will keep it) but I wanted an upgrade so I got the Fantom X and my oh my the quality of it just didn't disappoint me and I just love it with the cash holder makes it look so much neater and the carbon fiber finishing is just my favourite. Overall great minimalist wallet to say the least and I hope there are more improvements to come in the future and who knows I might get another upgrade hahaha.

I like the fantom x wallet a lot because it is well made, works well, practical and looks and feels good. Also, it’s small and lightweight. It just merges with my pocket and it just like I have nothing in my pocket. It’s worth saying that the images on this website is very accurate. This means that if you like it on the website there is a good chance you will like it in real life. I’m also happy to say that there weren’t any quirks or surprises. Everything is as it should be. I carry a small purse for coins and cash plus the fantom x wallet.

Received as a gift, my new wallet is an impressive piece of kit. Only downside is that the cash holder attachment doesn’t hold many bills - around 9-10 and it’s a tight squeeze. Considered the silicone band, but would prefer a money clip.

Such a great wallet. Beautiful build quality and the fanning mechanism is smooth and satisfying. I also have the cash holder attachment which I'm using to store some extra cards and it gets the job done. I've enjoyed my overall experience of using this wallet in my day to day usage. Only complaint is the price but I definitely recommend this wallet if you're looking for a quick access minimalist wallet and you got the cash.
I Did It Again!
My original Fantom was the larger carbon fiber format which was not RFID compliant. I was very satisfied with going minimalist. Then you guys made a smaller format that was RFID compliant - I purchased the X model in carbon fiber and was amazed at the smaller footprint this wallet possessed. My mistake was purchasing the extra slim version, when I really needed the slim version. I purchased the slim version and I am totally satisfied with this version. Gave my previous Fantom wallets to my adult sons and they have thrown away their old style wallets and are really liking these Fantom wallets. This is the best wallet I have ever owned and used - this is a case where you can teach an old dog a new trick. I am a senior citizen retired.

It's just great the only thing that I would love this to have is the possibility to have two or more modular attachments at te same time, eventhough it would result in a more bumpy wallet.

Very well made and premium feel. I have the walnut X with coinholder attachment currently and absolutely love it. Will switch to the moneyband next as that is what I usually have on minimalist wallets to keep key/cash/receipts in place.

I had already tried other wallets and all of those didn’t work well. Forr those otherr wallets, sometimes the cards fell off, or they remained stuck inside the wallet - what a nuisance when you’re at the supermarket checkout!

I’ve bought more wallets than I care to admit. But this is tops for me. No other wallet I’ve found has a fan out mechanism, AirTag capability, is reasonably thin AND can hold 10+ cards. There’s just nothing else like it! Solid construction too - it clearly will last.

Best Wallet Yet!
I had previously bought the Fantom when it was originally released and loved that wallet. However it had a few drawbacks with an unusable coin holder and general wear and tear over time. My new fantom x is and improved design, much smaller, and better quality. If you want a minimalist wallet that is durable you cant go wrong with this one.

Great EDC Wallet!
I've been a back pocket bifold wallet person for 20+ years. I stumbled upon this recently and thought I'd give it a try with some skepticism and boy am I surprised. It is surprisingly comfortable in the front or back pocket and works surprisingly well distributing the cards.
My only complaint, I should have purchased the largest size as I'm not able to get the full amount of cards in. Mildly disappointing, but probably my fault for not doing enough research.
That grip aside, I would still give it 5 stars. Fit, finish, execution are all excellent.

Who needs a $150 wallet? You might ask who needs an expensive painting, or framed photograph. I see elegant engineering as art. My last wallet served me well for ~20 years. Had I known it would be following me around for that long, well let's just say the cost is nothing for something as Andrew Watkinson and functional as this (Fantom X carbon fibre).

Wallet is well made and works great. I highly recommend. I added the silicone band for cash. The cash can slide out from under the band and I’m concerned the band will need to be replaced as it stretches out. I went with the band as I thought it would be the better route given no money clip option. I chose the X because of the materials and am very please. I will add my final thoughts when I receive the cash holder attachment. One final note, if you are unsure which accessory to choose, order both and return the one you don’t want as individually the accessories are below the free shipping limit of $45.
Just got it but it looks and feels as expected
First, it has that premium look. I don’t like wallets with elastic to hold them as they tend to loosen with time so I wanted to try this. Also, I was worried that the cards would rattle if the wallet is not full. But no! Even with half its size, the cards are tugged well and they just sit tight. They don’t fall off even with a lot of shaking. I got it with the air tag holder, which I wish is not stickable as I tend to juggle it around stuffs. But guess usually people just leave them there so it might make sense for others. Anyway, hope this stays this way and live up to the expectations.
Premium feel. Worth the price but still room for improvement
Overall I’m pretty happy with my Fantom X + Cash Holder + AirTag. Feels super premium and the fan mechanism feels sturdy and smooth like butter. When first trying to fill it up with cards, it feels a bit snug/tight but after awhile you do get used to the amount of resistance you feel from the wallet. I bought my X with the cash/card holder and quality feels just as great but wish it could fit a little bit more as my Malaysian ringgit notes need to be folded thrice to fit properly so can’t have a lot of notes in it. Installation was a bit stressful though as one of the screws provided was difficult to screw in with the provided screw driver and it started to strip the screw. Went with my own screw driver to make sure it could be fastened securely. They should provide extra screws too! AirTag holders feel great and secure. All in all a good purchase. Thinking to buy the Silicone band accessory now since my notes probably fit Better this way.

So far, I love this wallet. Yes, it's not cheap - price wise. But it does what it advertises. I also added the money holder which is great for extra papers, receipts or cash. Time will tell if this wallet was worth the money, but so far I'm satisfied.

This wallet is amazing and looks even better! The fan out works perfectly. I also added the id accessory on it which is great just wish there was a little more room for 2 cards in there but that’s not what it’s meant for. Great wallet overall.

I am really impressed with the space saving design of this wallet. The mechanism is really smooth, but doesn't always fan perfectly. I also have the ID holder attachement and would like to see a version that allows for thicker scan-type ID badges.

This is my second fantom wallet I wanted a slimmer profile and went with the fantom X 5-7 cards and wow fantom knocked it out of the park with this one it weighs next to nothing and my cards fit snug like my other fantom wallet I will never buy another wallet except a fantom.

Years ago i bought the secrid credit card holder and after several years i decided to try fantom. I have to say that the change has ven fantastic. The cards hola better and if the card holder falls, the cards do not come out of it as in the secrid.

I love the lever to fan thr cards, its addictive. It does fit 7 non raised cards 5 raised cards. Loved the carbon fiber. Wish you come up with a metal money clip like the older models.
Exactly what I looked for
I previously tried the Ridge wallet and send it back within a day and looked for a different one with a better mechanism to access my cards. Got stuck on the Fantoms design and size availabilities. Absolutely love it, I got the largest version with the Cash adapter. Only thing i would like is that I could add two adapters as I would like to carry some coins at times. But that’s doesn’t make this wallet worse. I absolutely love it! Highly recommend if you are looking for an easy access wallet for your cards.

Very well designed slim wallet
After my Secrid and Virtu mechanisms both broke after not very long I was really looking for a clever slim wallet that is built to last. The card release mechanism looks much more robust. So far so good! The design overall is excellent and the modular approach too. Purchase experience was slick.

I'm french, and I've waited a long time to have this kind of wallet. In order to put all my credit cards with my ID cars and my car license, I've buyed the 4/7 version but it's not sufficient as I've wanted...
Hopefully, I had another one and I Will bring my two small wallets with me all the time.

I have the Fantom X and I give it a 5 star because it's the best one I've come across up to date right now. I actually love it. And also have more colors. I've showed it to a couple friends and they like it as well. Do you offer an affiliate program or work with ambassadors? Other than that, great wallet. When you have more colors in the Fantom X series, would consider purchasing again.
Fantom X extra slim w/cash holder
Just received my Fantom X w/ cash holder. This is my first Fantom product and at first I was hesitant to purchase do to the price but pulled the trigger and happy about it. I previously had other fanning wallets and the triggers were either “crunchy” or hard to push, on the Fantom the fanning system is smooth and the cards fan out the same every time. The cash holder does not make the wallet that much bigger and a nice edition to have.

Light weight, slim, durable and functional. The lever is much more durable this time. Great innovation! In the future, I'd like to see an all aluminum wallet, like in the beginning of the video of the latest model. Thank you!

Once again a master piece. I previously owned a Fantom R. It is great but always thought it could have been a little smaller. The Fantom X made my wish come true, it is nearly perfect. Top-notch quality and beautiful. Maybe slightly rounded edges would make it perfect.

The Fantom X is an awesome wallet! The design makes it lighter and smaller than my previous wallet. It has a great feel when using one hand. Putting my cards in the slot does take longer than I expected, but I can get use to it.

I’ve tried many wallets and Fantom has twice impressed me with theirs. Have bought the C and now the X (with money clip attachment, and it works flawlessly) they have both been extremely premium and work just like they should. I’m sure it will work this way for a long time.

This wallet is incredible!! The only reason I don’t give it a 5 star review is because you can only use one single attachment at a time. The one I love, with the rubber band attachment, doesn’t come in carbon fiber and it throws the rest of the wallet off. Great concept, just needs a little more tweaking. If you’re on the fence about buying, DO IT!! You’ll love the purchase.

I honestly love my wallet so far! I had some issues with shipping where my order got lost and delayed for nearly a month but Fantom did issue a replacement within a few days of me finally reaching out. So kudos for that.
Even though I've never been the type to spend this much on a wallet, I already found myself replacing 2 cheaper wallets that I bought that fell short on quality and functionality. I was aware of Fantom for a while but didn't pull the trigger until they implemented the new air tag holder which would allow me an additional module. I would probably like it more if you could use at least one more module but I would probably compromise the form, so I get it.

I was hesitant at first on this wallet simply because of the price. However, after having mine for more than a year, it was worth every penny. It's so much smaller and therefore lighter than any other wallet I've owned. It has also forced me to carry my wallet in the back pocket of my pants which is ergonomically tragic for humans bodies. The craftsmanship is incredible. All the materials are top notch and are much more rugged than I had anticipated. Every 6 months or so I remove all the cards and use compressed air to clean out the lever piece that pushes up the cards, and it works flawlessly. With the added clip, I can easily keep any cash or other small papers I might need. I can't recommend this wallet enough. I get compliments all the time.

Replacing my Fantom R!
I’ve LOVED my Fantom R wallet since I purchased it in May 2021, have never had any issues, and it still works as if it’s new. However, I needed more room for additional cards and saw a newer version was released, the Fantom X. I’m in LOVE once again, especially with the new design having a smaller overall area, and the new lever is excellent. Only been using the wallet for a few days now but can already tell it’s going to last. My only complaint is that you can only have one attachment on the wallet at a given time now, whereas I had the ID holder and money clip on my Fantom R. Other than that, the build quality is perfect and I’m very pleased with my new wallet!!!

Great quality product. The slim size holds 4-5 cards perfectly and never had any issues. My two most used cards, are the outer most cards and slide in/out with ease. Dropped the wallet a couple of times and the cards stay in. Recommend for anyone that doesn’t like bulky wallets.

Ordered the X, & have to say, it’s brilliant. Barely bigger than the cards themselves, it really is discreet, of excellent quality and more than adequate for the number of cards I carry. Luckily, I only have one embossed card, & my only advice is that I would count embossed cards as 2 cards when working out which size to get. I went for the seven - & 5 plain cards & 1 embossed one is a very snug fit. Overall couldn’t fault it, though. More than happy!

This wallet is awesome, hands down totally awesome! I bought the 7 carbon fiber and just love it! I just purchased another one with an AirTag Holder so I won’t lose my wallet which I have done so many times. This is so nice, classy, strong, and looks good all the time and the cards fan out - too cool! Only problem is the tip on my card is getting some wear on it but that’s because I put keys and coins and lighter in the same pocket as the wallet. No reason to put in the back anymore! That’s a blessing this guy who came up with this design is taking wallets to a new level yes there pricey but sooo worth the money! Trust me you can design your own wallet come on guys who lets you do that !?!? I’m a life time customer all the way I will get one in different colors to add as an accessory to my wardrobe. I get nothing but compliments on this bad boy trust me this is what you want and need stop reading and go make your own you won’t be disappointed I promise!

Love the sleek and slim design. I am also like the finish options to choose from, but it would be great they offered the option to design your own individual design. With the ID option added it takes a lot of the one side of the wallet, so it would almost be pointless, which I love the fact that they finally added this option, as it was one of my complaints from their first phantom wallet. This is a very firm, and high quality wallet and reccommend it. The price point is a little high, but when it comes to keeping my identy secure then I'm okay with paying a little more.

The last year of working from home and buying things online, instead of roaming the city, undoubtedly means a wallet has been used much less than normally. None the less, I can definitely say I like this card wallet. It does what it says. It stores cards in an easily accessible way. It's convenient. It doesn't take much pocket space. It's very accessible. Place the most frequently used card at the front, and the 2nd most used at the back, for very easy access. The less frequently used ones are still fairly easily accessible when the cards are fanned out. You don't see much of each card, though, so you may want to sort them in an order that provides good colour contrast.

I have to write this review because the team at fantom deserve this praise, and people need to know about this product. I bought the largest size Fantom x a couple of days ago, its brilliant. I've always had a leather wallet, and a lot of cards. Since moving to this wallet, I've been walking around with the thing in my hand, pulling the lever and putting the cards away again, just looking at it. The bamboo build is beautiful and the quality is stunning. A work colleague even saw it sitting on my desk and asked "what is that?!" Furthermore - In my old wallet I would carry a couple of cash notes around, the odd receipt, or ticket to a show, and I thought how do I do that now with this Fantom X? So I researched the attachment. The cash holder attachment is better than the money clips i've seen around. From the description and images on this site, its hard to see at first if it was just a slot or if it had something to hold things in there. There's a single line on the main page that mentions it has metallic spring load, so I thought ok lets try it. I bought the carbon fibre cash holder attachment, and it too is brilliant. I wanted to add that here - it does have a spring load via 2 prongs that are bent out, so it grips anything you put in there and holds it. Oh and the shipping was insanely fast - I live in Vancouver, I ordered it, it shipped the next day, and arrived the day after. Your team rocks and you should be proud of your product. Buy one please and see for yourself.

Slim and out of sight
I took time out of my day to write this review. It may be the best wallet ever. I think this will last me the rest of my life and then some. It has everything I need and I even got the ID holder that works fantastic and keeps my I.D. and cards in place. It's almost like magic how the cards stay in the slot but they will not come out until you want them to. 10/10 recommended to every guy I know that has the old back pocket leather ones.

The wallet is everything it looks like - beautifully crafted, slim and very functional. It's pretty much perfect. Over and above that, I wanted to comment on Fantom's service. The original wallet was lost by the Austrian postal service (no fault of Fantom). However, the helpful customer service agent made multiple attempts to reach Austrian post, and finally replaced and resent the wallet to another country at no extra charge - this was truly above and beyond the call of duty, and what you can expect from a first rate customer experience. Buy with confidence!

I'm so happy i bought this ultra thin wallet, it just perfect for my needs. Cards are very secure, it's just impossibile to Make the fall even trying to. Easy, intuitive and comfortable to use, the fanning is more than enough to choose the card you need. And it's beautiful too ;).

Connect to key chain

I started using a Fantom wallet when they had their first Kickstarter campaign and the frame & lever was a type of plastic. Then they got to work right away with the R that upgraded the frame & lever to aluminum... the fanning of the cards was improved as well. Now with the X it's smaller with all the improvements the R had. With all 3 versions I got the 10 with carbon fiber. I always keep it in my front pocket, usually with nothing else. Now with the X, I sometimes don't even realize it's there because of its size and weight. My only dilemma now is I'll go deep exhale whether to get the cash holder or the silicone band since the clip is not an option with the smaller size. The fanning of the cards is smooth and makes getting any one of my cards out when needed. I can't "Fantom" ever going back to a folding wallet in my back pocket!! And looking forward to where they go from here.

This is my first metal wallet I bought and this the best one I have ever seen online. I love the construction of the wallet with simple and durable mechanism. First I bought the Fantom X carbon finish, I was more than satisfied. Then I’ve added the Fantom Cash Holder. I am very much proud to have this Fantom wallet, especially when I take in supermarkets for payment, everyone’s eyes on this wallet. The customer service is “the best”. The wallets are top notch. I’ve owned 2 now. The first I bought was the Fantom S and it was far and away the best wallet I’ve ever owned. It’s still in great condition to this day after around 2 years of daily wear and tear. I decided to upgrade, not out of necessity, but just to get a new one with the new affable features so I bought the Fantom X. I couldn’t be happier and absolutely love it. The customer service was fantastic as well. I believe I spoke with Randy and he handled everything and was terrific. Couldn’t be happier!

Absolutely a fantastic product. Using my X13 with ID card holder which is very convenient. I had one of the first models of the F7 and liked it so much so an upgrade were needed!
